LSD revamped website

hi!! my name is monstii and i was TRAPPED. in a ROOM. for 8 HOURS. 

...in other words, i had to take a standardized test at school the other day. the PSAT!!! with my advanced intellect, it was quite easy and i finished in like an hour. (the test was timed, but still!) after everyone was finished, we just stayed in our testing rooms the rest of the day and they let us do whatever. 

for basically the entirety of the time, i played lsd: dream emulator revamped!! i was browsing  free itch.io games (still poor) one day and i found it there! ive always wanted to play lsd since i was a kid because i saw my favorite gaming youtubers review it. i was really excited!!! 

most of the game is just walking around and taking in the sights, but i thought what if i do something cool and original???

because lsd:r doesnt have the flashback mechanic, for the most part you wont see that same thing twice! so i decided to take screenshots of things i found interesting. entities, worlds, textures... anything! it was a lot of fun! 

this collection is only a part of all of the pictures i took. (i took a lot) i will probably post more at a later time! lsd:r had text in the top right corner that says what build of the game you are in, so i edited it out of all of them. (figglewatts if this bothers you i am sorry!!!) 

i will also talk a little about the pictures that i took. this game really gets my brain thinking a lot!!!

these trees were really big. thats it!!!

eyes

this texture really likes to show up in this world. it creeps me out everytime!! it also gives big 👀eyes to the monk statues that walk around. it makes me be unnerved whenever i run into them, and i dont really get scared by video games! its just different somehow.

castle

i saw this castle in the horizon, so i took a picture of it before the dream ended. i almost made it to it, but the dream ended before i could get close.

girl on chairs

at first, the temple-like world was completely empty! but when i ran into one of the maiko (or geisha?) in the kyoto world, i was transported here. two other figures appeared, but you'll have to wait for those pictures to be posted! (hehe)

kicking a ball

this is one of the other two figures that appeared. they just kick a ball in the air, in the air seems to kick it back! i think they're having fun.

when i finished getting the shot for the above image, this giant flower suddenly spawned in! no animation or nothing! hes pretty silly!

i think the sexual texture (actual name) is probably my favorite, next to the kanji texture!

geisha appear quite often for me, it feels. i think they are pretty cool. a little scary, but cool.

thats it for now, a bit of an underwhelming post today, but i still think these screenshots are cool! after reading the wiki, it turns outs theres a lot of things about this game that i dont know, so im just a surface-level dreamer i guess! (lol) 

im suprised this game is still slept on, considering the 'weirdcore' and 'liminal space' aesthetics have been a popular thing for some time know. maybe because this game is mostly really only known to gamer nerds? who knows!

it would be kind of funny if i made some fucked-up fake screenshots and tried to pass them off as real ones that are apart of my innocent screenshot art project. imagine the ruckus!!!
